En-route sightseeing covering at Lalbagh Fort - is an incomplete 17th-century Mughal fort complex that stands before the Buriganga River in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The construction was started in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah who was the son of Emperor Aurangzeb and later emperor himself. His successor, Shaista Khan, did not continue the work, though he stayed in Dhaka up to 1688.Dhakeswari Temple -famous 11th-century Hindu temple is the most prominent temple of Dhaka. The name 'Dhakeshwari' means 'Goddess of Dhaka'was built in the 12th century by Ballal Sen, a king of the Sena dynasty, and it is said that the city was named after the Goddess.It is considered an essential part of Dhaka's cultural heritage.Many researchersbelieve that the temple is also one of the Shakti Peethas, where the jewel from the crown of the Goddess Sati had fallen.Ahsan Manzil -was the official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka.Construction was started in 1859 and was completed in 1872. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture.Shankhari Patti –Old hindu street. is one of the oldest areas in Old Dhaka broadly known as ShankhariBazar. It stretches along a narrow lane, lined with richly decorated brick buildings, built during the late Mughal or Colonial period. Later arrive at Sadarghat Riverfront - is a busy port on the banks of river Buriganga. This place is very much crowded with passengers travelling to different destinations within Bangladesh. Later embark at the ship and proceed to Barisal. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at vessel.

Early morning arrives at Barisal and have breakfast at local restaurant. After breakfast visit the floating market -appears as the center of Barisal’s (aka The Venice of Bengal) beauty. Nobody knows when the idea of this floating market began, but it’s a hundred-year old tradition. Development and modernization are taking over the country but it’s surprising to see them not reaching to this river-oriented life yet. Guthia Mosque- the BaitulAmanJame Masjid Complex, commonly known as Guthia Mosque of Barisal, is a mosque complex of Bangladesh having a land area of 14 acres, comparing to the 8.30 acres land area of the national mosque BaitulMukarram of the country. Largest Pottery village in Barisal.The four villages of Maheshpur Paul Para in Niamati union of Barisal's Bakerganjupazila have a long association with clay. For centuries the area has been home to potters and with around two hundred families still engaged in the traditional industry, Maheshpur Paul Para retains its distinction as the primary hub for earthenware in Barisal.
